UnPlug is a revolutionary new tool in stage isolation of your plug-and-perf completions. Run in place of standard frac plugs and setting tools, below the perforating guns in wireline pumpdown tool string, UnPlug slowly releases our proprietary Perf Pods when deployed at plug-setting depth. The Pods enter the previous stage and automatically block flow at each individual perforation. Where traditional frac plugs block flow at a single point, the UnPlug system ensure isolation is reached with maximum efficiency – even at low flow rates. Additionally, if one Pod fails to seal, multiple pre-positioned Pods immediately move into action to reseal.
Because flow is blocked at each individual perforation, the pressure on the Pods pushes them outward, rather than downhole, where slipping can happen. Plus, our Perf Pods are immune to pressure cycling and require no additional drilling out of plugs.
